01Who we are

This policy explains how Doctors Dose Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England, collects and uses your personal information. We are the data controller for the information described here.

02Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information generated as you use the service, including:

• Account details — your name, email address and password.
• Order details — products, delivery address, region and payment confirmation (we do not store full card numbers).
• Skin assessment information — answers you provide about your skin concerns and, where relevant, health information such as pregnancy or allergies, which is treated as special category data.
• Usage information — how you interact with the site, for security and to improve the service.

03How we use your information

We use your information to create and manage your account, fulfil and deliver your orders, recommend suitable protocols, provide customer support, keep the service secure, and — where you have agreed — send you marketing.

04Legal bases

Under UK data protection law we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to process orders and accounts); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service); your consent (for marketing and for processing health-related assessment data); and compliance with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting).

Where we process special category (health) data, we do so on the basis of your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

05Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to run the service — for example with our payment provider, delivery partners, hosting and infrastructure providers, and with Microsoft (Clarity) for storefront session analytics. If Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, or Meta (including Instagram ads) are enabled, those companies also process data for measurement or advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

06International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as approved standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.

07Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your region and currency. We also use Microsoft Clarity (session analytics and heatmaps) on the storefront. If Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, or the Meta Pixel are enabled later, they are used to measure visits and run Instagram / Facebook ads.

08Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to meet the purposes above, including legal and accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.

09Your rights

Subject to UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where we rely on it, including for marketing.
• Request a copy of certain information in a portable format.

10Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Our service is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
